Equipment Data

Equipment Data (ED) allows customers to manage their equipment population (across dealerships). ED is responsible for providing a central equipment database in the Dealer StoreFront environment. Some of it’s features include; automatic updates of the Dealer StoreFront equipment record from the dealer’s business system, updates that are sent to your dealer(s) when you make changes in the Dealer StoreFront, and common equipment grouping functionality (i.e. Equipment Manager). PartStore and Equipment Manager users will have access to Equipment Data.

EquipmentManager (EM) - Managing your equipment from your desktop.

Caterpillar Users, Dealers and Customers use various stand alone / web based applications to obtain all the necessary information about their machines. EM is a Web based System. This system would act as a single point source for Caterpillar users, Dealers and Customers to access invaluable information about their Machines. The EM System provides your machine's service meter hours, location, and machine health information via the Internet. Expected benefits you may realize using Product Link include higher machine availability, reduced repair costs, higher machine resale value, and more effectively managed operations.

SOS Web

Proper fluid maintenance is imperative to keep machines and engines operating at peak performance. The key to success of the S·O·S Services is early detection. By monitoring your equipment throughout its lifecycle you are able to identify problems before they grow into major repairs thereby optimizing performance, maximizing productivity, protecting valuable equipment, reducing operating costs and increasing resale values.
